At Creative Virtue Customs, we want the ordering process to feel smooth, clear, and stress-free.
One of the most common questions we receive is about mock-ups and artwork revisions. To help you plan confidently, here’s how our process works.
Do You Automatically Send Mock-Ups?
In most cases, no — and here’s why.
The awards shown on our website accurately represent what you will receive. The overall layout, structure, and style will remain consistent, with adjustments made for:
Wording
Names
Placings
Species
Font changes (if requested)
Because our designs follow proven templates and layouts, a mock-up is not typically necessary unless you specifically request one.
This allows us to keep production moving efficiently and meet deadlines for all of our customers.
What If I Would Like a Mock-Up?
We are absolutely happy to provide one.
If requested after your order is placed, we will create a mock-up of one of each award type ordered. We do not create individual mock-ups for every single award in the order, as formatting and layout remain consistent across placings.
You are welcome to request revisions, and we will work with you until everything looks exactly as you’d like.
Do You Provide Mock-Ups Before an Order Is Placed?
We do not provide mock-ups prior to an order being submitted, but you can let us know before your order is submitted that you would like one before production begins.
Once an order is placed, we can confidently design within your selected materials, sizes, and quantities. This ensures that artwork reflects your actual order and keeps our production schedule accurate.
How Quickly Should I Respond to a Mock-Up?
Timely responses are very important.
To protect your event date — and the schedules of other shows we are serving — we kindly ask that you review and respond to mock-ups as quickly as possible.
If your event date is approaching and we do not receive approval or revision requests within 48 hours, we will proceed with production in order to ensure your awards arrive on time.
Our goal is always to prevent your event from being without awards.
Why This Process Matters
Custom awards involve design time, material preparation, engraving, assembly, and shipping coordination. A clear and responsive proofing process helps:
Keep your order on schedule
Prevent delays
Protect your event timeline
Ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved
We are committed to delivering quality awards that reflect the hard work of your exhibitors — and a clear process allows us to do that consistently.
If you have questions about artwork, revisions, or timelines, we are always happy to help.
